BotM stands for Babe of the Month. It is an expression of my superficial, shallow, chauvanistic side as I celebrate the absolute loveliness of some celebrity-like female person. The general idea is to select someone that either only came to my attention during the previous month, or who is somehow deserving of the attention for that month. Despite this very basic definition, and the initial impression most of the entries take, I actually do base my decision on more than just looks. While physical attractiveness is the primary factor, if the woman doesn't have talent in her chosen profession, or is otherwise a total bitch or airhead, or has some other major character flaw, then she's out of the running.
