"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." Theodore Roosevelt

Hi all. Well, hi to anyone who still happens to read this blog, which probably isn't anyone. I've once again been terribly remiss in updating. Sorry about that. But I have some time today, so here we go.
I had my last final for Summer session last night. I am confident that I passed the clas . . . (More)
Recently, my cell phone has been having issues. It randomly decides to turn off. Initially, I thought that it my fault . . . not paying attention to the battery level and forgetting to charge it. But yesterday it up and turned off, even while saying it had half a charge. I plugged it in anyway, . . . (More)
Final grades finally arrived today. I was genuinely scared--wasn't sure I passed at all. Such a relief to see the pleasantly surprising scores. Now I just need to get my arse in gear for the current classes!
My sincerest apologies for the absence. Lately I have not had much time for anything. Which actually sucks considering I've been off from school this week. But between prepping for finals, taking finals, attending a wedding, house sitting for my folks, a cousin's birthday party, and dealing with . . . (More)
Finals begin tomorrow. I feel pretty confident about one, not so confident on the other two. But I think I'll do well enough to pass. I hope. One of my instructors was a bit sneaky and underhanded last night. How else do you explain him hangin . . . (More)
Wow, it's been, like, forever since I last blogged, huh? Terribly sorry about that. There have been a combination of reasons for that. Mostly it's just a matter of time . . . working 40 hours a week, in class an additional 9-12 hours, spending close to 20 hours studying, then trying to cram in th . . . (More)
I've been carrying a lot of tension lately. Most of it is work related. Some of it personal life related. But it's been bugging me in more ways than one. And it's something that I decided needed to be dealt with before school starts. Yes, in case I hadn't mentioned it, I'm going back to school. . . . (More)
I went to see WALL-E today. Thoroughly enjoyable movie. Go see it, btw. I've been thinking a bit about how much WALL-E and I have in common . . . both of us are in jobs where we deal with garbage all day long, suffer some confusion in life, and at times feel like we're falling apart.
